Network Administration Training: Creating Stable and Secure Networks

Kevin KrögerTraining & Workshops

The network is the backbone of every IT infrastructure. If the network goes down, everything goes down. Yet many companies have gaps in network administration expertise. Our training closes these gaps: from TCP/IP basics to enterprise network design. Practical, with real network hardware and simulators.

Training content: From basics to expert

Level 1: TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, Routing fundamentals (2 days). Level 2: VLANs, firewall configuration, VPN, QoS, network monitoring (2 days). Level 3: Enterprise architecture, redundancy, troubleshooting, security (1 day). All levels with hands-on labs: participants configure real switches, routers, and firewalls.

Network security as an integral part

A network is only as strong as its security. That's why we integrate security into every module: segmentation, zero trust, IDS/IPS, secure remote access. Not as an afterthought but as a basic principle: every network decision has security implications. We teach both simultaneously.

Practical labs with real hardware

We work with Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, and pfSense — the equipment used in real businesses. No abstract simulations but real configurations participants can directly apply in their work. For in-house trainings, we can even work on your own hardware and directly optimize your network.

Conclusion

Good network administration is the foundation of every stable IT. Invest in your team's network knowledge — it prevents outages and security incidents.
